Chapter 384: Mad Dragon

The fifth and sixth princes were both at mid Golden Core Stage and had the best of both worlds of the dragon and nine-headed worm bloodline. Their battle prowess was extremely high and difficult to calculate, enough that even a human in late Golden Core Stage might not be their opponent. Although they had such battle prowess, however, they were still unexpectedly set back by the early-Golden Core Stage dragon girl and the secret techniques she’d performed. That claw and the pellet, one utilized the raw force of the body, the other was a dragon ball formed through cultivation level, and both had managed to wound a prince apiece.

After wounding the two princes and gaining the upper hand, the dragon girl roared from the air and rushed at the sixth prince. She understood all too well that she might not have truly secured a win since Lao’wu and Lao’liu had the blood of the nine-headed worm. Although they were called “worms”, they were also referred to as “nine-headed birds” since their physique was much closer to that of a bird and they were extremely proficient in flying. She’d have to kill them as soon as possible if she wanted to maintain her advantage, and that required concentrating on finishing one of them off. The fifth prince had turned to flee after being disadvantaged by the sneak attack, so only the sixth prince was close enough for her to attack.

Within the crowd of guests from the Red Convention, Yuan Bizhan’s eyes gleamed and he muttered to himself, “It’s time!” After getting kicked by Fang Xing, he’d been sent with his Yuan clan protectors to recover in a room not too far away from the Colored Glass Palace. Although he’d initially been filled with anger and extreme hatred towards the dragon girl and Fang Xing, when his protectors told him about the phenomenon that appeared over the dragon girl’s palace, he came to a realization and had been filled with excitement and joy ever since.

The dragon girl actually had a complete Yin body!

The lewd rumors about her had all been fake!

This was a huge opportunity bestowed upon him by the heavens!

The moon-chasing dragon released by the dragon girl was more convincing than anything else, and her poor reputation was completely cleared up within a single night. If Yuan Bizhan was able to wed the dragon girl now, not only would he not need to worry about being ridiculed by others due to her tainted name, he would have married a pure-blooded dragon with a complete Yin body. This would be seen as an official tie via marriage and his status within the clan would definitely increase far more than before.

The dragon race placed the utmost importance on their bloodlines, and the number of Dragon clan daughters who married outside their own race could even be counted on a single hand. How impressive would it be if he were to marry one? Of course, the impressiveness alone wasn’t the most important reason for his excitement; the dragon girl’s complete Yin body would be extremely useful to his own cultivation.

It could be said that if everyone knew the improper rumors surrounding the dragon girl were false, such a good thing would have never fallen to him. In fact, the dragon girl’s status was more than enough for her to be married off to the next master of the Yuan clan himself. When the complete Yin of the dragon girl was combined with the complete Yang of a male cultivator, it would form the perfect balance of Yin and Yang, allowing both of their cultivations to increase. However, Yuan Bizhan had broken his complete Yang long ago and the Yuan clan had a large number of elite disciples; no matter how he might look at it, such an opportunity would never have fallen onto his head.

Yuan Bizhan instantly understood this was a chance that presented itself once in a thousand years, but when the dragon girl was extremely weak and was being suppressed by the fifth and sixth princes, he’d been a bit hesitant and didn’t dare to stand out. Only once he saw the dragon girl obtain the upper hand did he finally find his guts and decide to stand out. Not only was kicking someone while they were down risk-free, he’d also be able to improve her opinion of him and gain her favor—what was there not to like? He stood tall and shouted, “Do not panic, dear princess! We Yuan clan disciples will come and help you!”

When Yuan Bizhan acted, the people behind him—such as the young island master of Gold Sea Turtle Island—all began to act as well. Even the guests who had nothing to do with it were also moved at the sight, and they decided to take this chance so the dragon girl would owe them a favor in the future. With a loud rumble, the vast collection of cultivators dashed towards those who’d come from the Dragon Palace, giving the dragon girl a very clear and obvious advantage.

The sixth prince had a bloody gash on his abdomen thanks to the dragon girl’s golden pellet, and he was currently trying to flee. When he saw the dragon girl rushing towards him with such thunderous light, he was so deeply scared it was as though he’d lost his soul and he continued fleeing without turning back. “Hey, Eldest Sister, I’ve never had any ill thoughts towards you…”

The picture scroll flew upwards and the reflection of the woman floated into the air. “Little unrestrained wench, how dare you act so viciously before your death!” Although she wasn’t able to attack, she was still able to scold the dragon girl.

The dragon girl suddenly turned towards the woman, and her eyes seemed to spark with electricity as she angrily replied, “Yu Mei’er, you ate my younger siblings, killed my mother, charmed and controlled my father, and now you’re trying to push me over the line. Today, I shall kill your two sons as interest….” While she shouted out, a thunderous light shot towards the picture scroll, instantly turning it black before it started to burn.

“Haha….” The shape of the woman became distorted when the scroll was lit with fire, but her voice continued to clearly sound. “Little bi*ch, you really think your petty skills are enough to overcome me? I—your mother—have prepared another great gift for you….”

The dragon girl felt a trace of concern when she heard that cold laugh, but she quickly decided not to dwell on it. Her gaze chilled and she continued chasing the sixth prince to kill him, but she abruptly stopped after a couple of miles. In the pitch black water below her, she saw a giant turtle the size of a small mountain swimming steadily closer, and the fifth and sixth princes who’d been fleeing earlier were both sneering at her while sitting on the giant turtle’s back.

Even more shocking to the dragon girl was that on the back of the giant turtle was a giant metal cage. The cage was thirty feet long and twenty feet tall, and it was crafted from black Refined Iron with numerous spells engraved all over that caused it to shine with lightning from time to time. As for what was inside the cage, it was a bright red dragon limply coiled up.

The dragon girl’s gaze instantly changed when she saw the dragon, and she drew in a cold breath before yelling, “Third Younger Brother?”

The dragon inside the cage didn’t respond, although its occasional movements revealed its agitation. The fifth prince pressed his palm against the cage, and an eye-blinding bolt of lightning shot out to strike the red dragon inside. The red dragon’s body began to shake and it let a mournful cry, but the fifth prince began to laugh and turned to speak to the dragon girl. “Eldest Sister, you’ve been away from the Dragon palace for so many years; do you still remember this third brother of yours who was closest to you? Mother was worried you might miss him, so she asked me specifically to bring him out to see you!”

The dragon girl’s eyes were nearly about to fall out of their sockets. “Third Younger Brother is of no threat to you! Why would you torture him like this?”

The sixth prince snickered and his eyes let off a cold light. “Such a vicious but obedient dog, who wouldn’t want to make use of it?”

“You are the vicious dog! Third Younger Brother, your older sister will save you from this!” The fury the dragon girl felt was utterly indescribable, and she roared before dashing at the Refined Iron cage. Although she wouldn’t be able to contend against the fifth and sixth princes if they were to join forces and she knew she wouldn’t be able to change anything, she couldn’t care about such things anymore. The dragons were one of the proudest races and the anger she felt at seeing her younger brother being treated in such a manner was beyond imagination.

Although the dragon girl was charging closer, neither the fifth nor sixth prince seemed inclined to attack; the fifth prince simply let out a few sinister laughs before placing his palm against the cage and muttering something. The third prince in the cage raised his head with great difficulty to give a reply, and the fifth prince sneered a few breaths later before signaling to the sixth prince that it was about time.

The sixth prince opened the cage when the dragon girl was about ten miles away. Behind her, Yuan Bizhan was leading the group of guests from the Red Convention who wanted to kick some people while they were down.

  ROAR ….

When the cage opened, the red dragon sensed a taste of freedom and let out a loud roar towards the sky. The might it displayed was extreme and the water below began to churn in response. Although the dragon had looked nearly dead when it was inside the cage, the roar was filled with madness and the thirst for blood.

The dragon girl seemed to realize something and abruptly stopped in place. She couldn’t help but to call out, “Third Younger Brother….”

“Haha…. Lao’san, your most favorite pure-blooded dragon is right in front of your eyes!” the sixth prince laughed. He raised a finger and a light shot across in the dragon girl’s direction. “Go and have a feast!”

At that moment, the red dragon’s gaze locked on to the dragon girl who was frozen in terror in the air. After releasing another abrupt roar, the red dragon suddenly flew out from the cage and drew in a breath. His body shook, and the flesh that had been so soft actually began inflate until the weak and feeble appearance from earlier turned into the likes of steel. It was violent, bloodthirsty, strong, and mad. It was filled with a power that was difficult to fend off.

  Swoosh ….

The red dragon flew out in an instant with a speed that defied description. It split the sky in an instant and caused two rapids to form in the sea.

The dragon girl was keenly aware something was wrong, and she raised her hand to place some restrictive formations. “Third Younger Brother, it’s me, your older sister….” Yet the red dragon seemed to no longer recognize her; his eyes had become a bloodthirsty red as he focused on her location.

  ROAR ….

The sea between the dragon girl and the red dragon suddenly drew downward as a giant existence as large as a mountain appeared from beneath the surface. It was a giant octopus-shaped sea creature that was extremely loyal to the dragon girl, and when it sensed the dragon girl was in danger, it immediately rose up from the water to place its body protectively in front of her.

The sea creature’s physique was so great it was as though the red dragon was an insect flying towards a giant, but the red dragon’s fierceness didn’t falter in the slightest. The red dragon dashed towards it without pause, and although the giant octopus lashed out with its giant tentacles, the red dragon didn’t even pay them any mind and simply smashed against one directly. The tentacles coiled around his body, but his movements were so fierce the tentacles were torn in half and fell into the ocean.

Once the red dragon arrived in front of the sea creature, he released a violent cry and grabbed on to its sides with his dragon claws. The sea creature let out a pained cry as the dragon tore outwards, and although the dragon’s body was comparatively small, he used so much raw force that the sea creature was split in two before it fell back into the sea.

“Third Younger Brother, have you gone mad?!” the dragon girl shouted before clenching her claws in front of her to cause a thunderbolt to strike at him. She determined something wasn’t right with him and no longer dared to get close, so she began using lightning to try to stop him from a distance.
