Chapter 303: Three vs Three

‘You bunch of bastards, it’s obvious you want to kill me together after you get out. If that’s the case, don’t blame me for killing you all!’ While standing guard outside the cauldron, Fang Xing could tell these people had discussed something and the topic was rather obvious, but he wasn’t surprised—this was all within his expectations. In fact, he himself knew his battle prowess wasn’t great enough to permanently trap them all inside the cauldron, and it was inevitable these people would battle it out with him in the end. Regardless, if he was afraid of something like this, he wouldn’t be here in the first place!

The green-dressed woman showed a chilling smile and threw over the pellets. “One golden pellet and eight Foundation Cleansing Pellets are all here, little brother. Thank you for offering such a kind discount….”

Fang Xing snickered and accepted the storage sack with a laugh. “Isn’t this one pellet too many? Didn’t you offer your shimei’s first time and I said you’d have to give one fewer Foundation Cleansing Pellets? I don’t normally give so much face as to offer a discount.”

The green-dressed woman coldly sneered. “No need, my shimei’s virginity won’t be given to you now!” She was about to tug on the red-dressed woman’s hand, but Fang Xing suddenly waved and smiled to stop her with a shout, “Hold on!”

The green-dressed woman’s expression changed at this. “Are you going back on your word?”

“No, I’m simply thinking on your behalf. Think about it, if the first person who came out attacked me directly, what would happen if those who came out later took the opportunity to simply rush out? Wouldn’t that mean they’d be taking advantage of you? So let’s be fair, all of you give me the items first. That blue worm, you need to give me one golden pellet and eight Foundation Cleansing Pellets; that one riding the female horse, you’ve gained quite a lot, but since I’m only taking half, I’ll take one golden pellet and eight Foundation Cleansing Pellets; as for you, ghost kid… you’ve got three golden pellets, right? How about we round it off, so you’ll need to give me two golden pellets and eight Foundation Cleansing Pellets….”

“Can you count? Didn’t you say you’d only take half?” Li Ying bit back with rage.

“I can’t really cut a golden pellet in half, right? You can think of it as me borrowing that half a pellet from you!”

Li Ying was still furious, but he reluctantly accepted once Hahn Longzi gave him a look. There was no need to argue with that bastard for now since they’d take it all back later anyway, and he truthfully didn’t have the force of personality to argue with this Snowy Mountain bastard in the first place. To think he—the Ghost Kingdom’s prince—who was so renowned for being difficult to deal with wouldn’t have any advantage in front of this Snowy Mountain bastard at all and was even losing verbal spats… it was frustrating to the extreme.

“The golden pellet and Foundation Cleansing Pellets are all here. Take it!” Everyone inside the cauldron all threw their pellets towards Fang Xing with dark faces, including Han Jiazi who hadn’t said anything yet. Their expressions weren’t pleasant at all, however, and their voices were filled with murderous intent.

Fang Xing was full of smiles as he took the pellets into his hands. This had been a huge profit! Of the nine golden pellets, he’d gotten his hands on five—more than the combined amount from everyone who’d gone inside the cauldron—as well as nearly forty Foundation Cleansing Pellets—more than two full gourds. He put all of the pellets away with his eyes arched in glee, glanced at everyone inside the cauldron, and then immediately turned to flee….

“He’s running! Kill him!” a voice exploded from inside the cauldron. Hahn Longzi was the first to rush out, and the blue sword light from his sword shined like a blue bolt of lightning as it struck out from the sky towards Fang Xing and his horse carriage below….

Li Ying, the three fairies of the northern mountains, and Han Jiazi of the western deserts all rushed out of the cauldron as well.

Despite getting on the horse carriage, Fang Xing didn’t actually flee just yet; instead, he raised his gaze and gave a cold smirk towards Hahn Longzi. “So eager to kill me! Looks like this grudge is impossible to resolve after all….”

When he saw how confident Fang Xing was, Hahn Longzi felt an indescribable shiver—something was not right.

‘Go, Old Peng!’ Fang Xing messaged the Peng King as his face grew stern. He let out a loud shout and dashed towards Hahn Longzi, while the Peng King activated the Flag of Ten Thousand Spirits behind him. A black smoke rose up from the flag as Fang Xing rushed forward, adorning him in a cloak that churned like a sea where five vicious-looking young dragons could be seeing baring their claws and fangs.

A large amount of blood essence quickly trailed from the top of the Flag of Ten Thousand Spirits to the five dragons. The five dragons had been removed from Grand Elder Jing Guang’s bagua plate and were now under the Peng King’s direct control, but this also meant they were no longer able to be nurtured by the bagua. They required blood essence to maintain their form like the Peng King did.

“No….” Hahn Longzi’s heart sank when he saw this. He already felt a sense of danger and was preparing to leave.

Fang Xing pushed his speed to the maximum, his golden wings covering him like a shell and leaving behind a stream of golden light as he thrust forward. He positioned himself right in front of Hahn Longzi’s retreat path, where he flourished his one-legged-man lance and gathered all of his Qi, causing the lance to flare up in a terrifying malice. Fang Xing slammed the lance down towards Hahn Longzi, causing it to push down against him alongside a cloud of malice.

Hahn Longzi had no choice but to pour everything he had into defending himself, and the blue longsword quickly turned into an ice dragon that coiled protectively in front of him to block Fang Xing’s attack. Although Fang Xing had looked as though he was running away, Hahn Longzi understood by now it was nothing more than bait to draw someone in closer and kill them off first in one go. Since he’d been so eager to kill off Fang Xing, he was unfortunately the one who ended up lured in precisely as Fang Xing had intended.

Hahn Longzi wasn’t thinking about any accomplishments or opportunities right now, he only prayed he’d stay alive long enough for Li Ying and the rest of them to help so he could still have a chance at life….

  BAM !

The one-legged-man lance crashed right against the ice dragon in front of Hahn Longzi. The attack contained Fang Xing’s full strength and the power contained within it was overwhelming; thin cracks began to web out and destabilize the dragon’s body, until the dragon simply shattered into shards of ice. The strike was so powerful the dragon couldn’t stop the attack at all, and Hahn Longzi was sent flying downwards while letting out a mournful cry.

The five dragons from the Flag of Ten Thousand Spirits rushed up and grabbed at Hahn Longzi from behind, causing him to scream as the black smoke enveloped him completely….

Fang Xing instantly turned to look at Li Ying and the others who were still dashing forward. The golden wings on his back allowed him to float in the air, and the black smoke beneath his feet was as vast as a genuine sea with five young dragons swimming amidst the suffocating malice. The smoke churned with the heated battle between the dragons and Hahn Longzi, and although Hahn Longzi was able to defend himself at first, he was gradually overwhelmed. His final expression was filled with fear and regret as he did his best to move closer to Li Ying and the others in the sky, as though wishing for them to come save him.

“Anyone still want to fight me?” Fang Xing looked towards the three fairies, Ghost Prince Li Ying, and the silent Han Jiazi in the sky. He’d lured Hahn Longzi in, smothered him in that black smoke, and blocked off the others being led by the Ghost Prince to keep them from rescuing him. This had all been done in one go, and the terrifying expression on Hahn Longzi’s face made Fang Xing seem every bit like a demon god.

After a moment of silence, Li Ying suddenly laughed. “This is a copy of the Huangfu clan’s Flag of Ten Thousand Spirits, right? It is indeed very powerful, but how long can you keep it activated?” He shook his body and caused a large amount of ghost Qi to spread outward, dying half the sky a bloody red.

The three fairies from the north all showed cold smiles as they formed a triangular formation and slowly landed. Their ribbons danced and pink powder began to scatter around them, turning into collections of pink mist that obscured parts of their bodies and made them seem ethereal. There was also an extreme seductiveness to them that could leave even a distant admirer spellbound, yet just beneath the surface of that seduction was an indescribable murderous intent.

As for Han Jiazi of the western deserts, he didn’t take any actions and simply stood aside as though considering something. The horse beneath him, however, widened its eyes towards Fang Xing and would exhale white smoke from its nose every so often.

“Snowy Mountain’s Fang Xiaojiu, you are indeed one of the very few people I—this mighty prince—see as an equal. Such a pity though; you really think killing Hahn Longzi is going to terrify us? You think you have a chance of winning when fighting alone against three?”

“All of you are very powerful; it seems like you really won’t be scared off so easily after all!” Fang Xing laughed. He knew the top elites of the top sects and clans in the four lands were in front of him, and he could tell that whether it was in terms of battle prowess or knowledge, they were all extraordinary. He’d used up a lot of blood essence to control all five dragons and kill Hahn Longzi in one go in order to instill them with awe and fear, but it seemed they weren’t scared of him at all and still wanted to kill him.

“Haha, it’s not me who should be worried fighting alone against three, it’s youwho should be worried!” Even when the elites encircled him, he showed no signs of fear and instead began to loudly laugh. “It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good fight. Come come come, you three aren’t bad at all; come and help me stretch my muscles!”

  BOOM !

Two strands of smoke coiled around Fang Xing’s arms when he finished speaking, and soon the dangerous aura began to spread outwards to cover the entire sky. Under his feet, that black sea of smoke began to gather in the center and form into a wave over teen feet tall behind him. Five vicious dragons could occasionally be seen swimming with that black wave, but the smoke was like a curtain hiding what was within. It was exceedingly terrifying, enough to cause a person’s heart to falter no matter who they were.

Even Li Ying couldn’t help but to softly sigh in admiration. ‘What a great show this bastard has! I’ll have the Ghost servants take notes so I can do the same next time….’ After that was done, however, he smirked and turned towards Han Jiazi and the three fairies. “Shall we?”

The three fairies didn’t answer, but the pink mist around them began to shift. As for Han Jiazi who still had that thoughtful expression, he looked towards Fang Xing before tightly grasping the long lance to his side.

Murderous intent began to grow and a bone-chilling wind blew through them from the horizon.

A crisp voice suddenly rose just at that moment. “Hold on!” It wasn’t loud nor fearful, leaving everyone surprised, and when they followed that voice, they saw a blue shadow floating up into the air to stand beside Fang Xing. It was the blue-clothed bandit, and the pupils beneath his mask showed an excited gleam. “Since we’re in an alliance, why did you not call me?” he softly asked. “It should be two against three!”

When Li Ying and the rest of them saw this, their hearts began to quiver. “There’s another one….”

“And me— me too…. It should be three versus three….” As a voice came up from below, everyone lowered their attention to look. The voice belonged to Chu Chi, who was dragging her weak body forward while holding a bone-white jade umbrella. She’d climbed on top of the carriage with great effort and waved her hand while yelling towards Fang Xing.

A black smoke was behind her to offer its protection, and a golden Peng bird could be seen floating within from time to time. It was the vicious great Peng King, and it was obvious he was the actual third person prepared to join in. This old bird intended to take this as an opportunity to get some more high-quality blood sacrifices.

“Damn girl, don’t cause me trouble and get the hell back in the carriage!” Fang Xing angrily snapped, although his focus was on the Peng King instead.

“Hey….” Chu Ci felt aggrieved at being scolded, but she had no choice but to carefully climb back down from the top of the carriage.
