“Brats, leave the wooden box and spare yourselves! Otherwise, your skin, bones and ashes will be crushed so you will never be reincarnated!!” Huang Long roared angrily.

“Pang!” Under the mad impulse of the Yellow Sand Giant Dragon, the Azure Ape King’s shield was finally shattered. Its large chunks of flesh and blood scattered in all directions. The yellow sand which formed the dragon shook like an earthquake and almost collapsed.

Shi Mu was at the golden altar and found himself losing his footing. There was still a trace of blood from the Azure Ape King. He immediately took a porcelain bottle from the space ring and collected it.

All that was left of the Azure Ape King was his bloody skeleton. With its flesh and blood shield now broken, thick blood spurted out of its mouth and flew in a white circle.

The circular formation made a buzzing sound as a large white array whirled around. A transmission array was successfully triggered!

Under the control of Huang Long, the Yellow Sand Giant Dragon once again solidified and whistled down from the air. Just when the Azure Ape King was about to be killed, the remnant of the Azure Ape swayed and fell into the transmission array. A beam of white light flashed, the body completely disappeared and the dragon was thrown off its chase.

Without the king’s control, the white light emitted by the transmission array gradually dimmed.

Shi Mu and Liu Yan witnessed it, and their faces immediately changed.

As the twilight disappeared, Huang Long did not continue to pursue it. Instead, he turned around and blocked the fading white transmission array. He looked at Shi Mu and Liu An who were not far out of his sight and said coldly, “Hey, both of you are already involved. Don’t expect you’ll survive another day! How dare you steal my wooden box?! I won’t go easy on you!”

Once his voice fell, Huang Long swung his sleeves and the dark yellow light wrapped closer to him.

As soon as Liu An saw this, he immediately picked up his pace in avoiding Huang Long’s attacks while using his two barbarian zombies to assist him.

The zombies, one on the left and one on the right, struck Huang Long from both sides. Their dark green nails emitted a cold dim light that burst in a dazzling display of gray claws targeting Huang Long’s chest.

Huang Long neither flinched nor even looked at the barbarian zombies. He roared, causing his robe to sway with a fierce wind that knocked the zombies out.

However, even after the two barbarian zombies were shaken off, they immediately turned over and rushed towards Huang Long.

The zombie barbarians’ may lack speed but they were fast enough to defend Liu An when he was in danger.

This only made Huang Long turn more violent. Just as a barbarian re-appeared in front of him, he slid out his palm to smack its head. With the zombie’s skull caught in the palm of his head, he gripped slightly with his five fingers…

  “Ka-cha!”

The zombie’s skull shattered. Red blood mixed with greenish fluid flowed out of the wound.

Huang Long gripped harder and the headless zombie dropped like a sack, incapable of moving.

A strong scent of blood filled the hall. Huang Long recoiled in disgust and locked eyes with Liu An who was just right across from him.

There was only one zombie left. To delay Liu An’s speed at this point was almost impossible.

Liu An turned quickly and moved out of his sight. Unsure if Huang Long had anticipated his next move, he stepped back and took out a black brick, intending to combine the pieces.

At the moment, all Shi Mu could see were red spots. The burning sensation did not yet fade but it was bearable. Even then, he noticed the look on Liu An’s face.

“You’re about to die, what’s the point of holding on? Compared to me, all of you are mere ants to be crushed and destroyed!” Huang Long roared as he swung his sleeves and a tsunami of yellow sand turned into two serpents, charging in Liu An’s direction.

The remaining barbarian zombie could hardly stop Huang Long. With one sweep, the barbarian zombie was flung out of the way like a rag doll.

Liu Yan, who had run away, now turned around and motioned with his hands while calling out a series of spells.

Huang Long flinched slightly as birds made other dense bones flew out of the yellow smoke, their chirping becoming louder and louder.

The bone birds were not only long but fast as a wave of arrows. They rushed toward Huang Long without needing a command.

Huang Long held his hands together. Two dragons merged with the sand serpent to form an even bigger sand monster. With just one slam of its tail, the bone birds were crushed into powder, appearing like snow on the stone floor

  “A futile move!”

Huang Long laughed but his voice was cut short when his body suddenly became stiff.

The bone powder condensed into two boney hands, grabbing Huang Long’s feet tightly.

  “Peng peng!”

As the bone birds began to form again from the pool of ashes, Huang Long broke free from the skeletal hands.

Just as Huang Long was rushing to get a hold of himself, a pair of stiff cold hands wrapped around his body from behind.

He looked and saw that it was a zombie.

When the zombie glowed with blue light, Huang Long suddenly understood what was going on and angrily glared at Shi Mu.

Shi Mu’s hand still held tightly onto the wooden box as he controlled the zombie by connecting the light body chain with the soul chain.

The next moment, Liu An and Shi Mu’s lips whispered at the same time, “Explode!”

  “Pang!”

The zombie holding Huang Long began to swell until it erupted in a ray of yellow flame and blue lightning.

The tiny electric awns swam through the air for a while like snakes before they slowly dispersed.

Controlling a self-detonating zombie was a special skill acquired by Liu An, known as the Corpse Explosion Technique. It causes the spiritual power of the zombie to instantly erupt with such destructive force that its residual power produced the after-effect of yellow flame mixed with some faint blue lightning.

The reason for the cyan electric awns was Shi Mu’s use of a lightweight zombie hiding a high-order chain explosion blast and a thunderstorm cloud.

The corpse explosion along with the two high-level symbols was enough to even the odds in this battle.

“Not bad… You children were able to push me to this point. I guess I underestimated your ability. But what kind of tricks can save you now?!” Huang Long roared angrily before the smoke had even cleared up.

Huang Long appeared out of the smoke, his robe now then. The golden light around his body was shaped like a dragon. It swam around him, protecting him from any potential attacks.

Shi Mu had encountered different types of powerful enemies but he had never come across someone like this. He could see through what the yellow light was but he could not tell what kind of spirit weapons or supernatural power Huang Long possessed.

Liu An heard Huang Long, but he did not stop or even lift his head. It was unknown from where he possessed more red bricks in one hand, and black bricks in the other. Red heat continued to sweep out of the stone but it did not merge with the black brick.

The flaming red color of the stones gradually faded but faint ripples appeared on the black brick’s surface.

Liu An began to sweat and the light in his eyes shone brighter.

As Shi Mu saw this, he immediately dashed to Liu An’s side.

Liu An loosened his grip a little and pinched his hand as his body glowed with a beam of green light. The black brick began to glow and slowly floated in front of Liu An.

Shi Mu only felt a dim light in front of him and started feeling a little fuzzy, like watching ripples on the surface of a lake.

When Huang Long saw this, he scowled in anger.

“You want to leave? Not a chance!”

As he roared, yellow sand rushed toward Liu An’s chest. Liu An did not bother to dodge. As the yellow sand approached, his mouth curled in a sinister smile.

When the yellow sand reached Liu An, it spiraled in the space before him before its trajectory was altered.

The rippling space before him suddenly opened like a large mouth, revealing dark space within.

In the darkness there was no trace of light but, just by chance, a small light passed through like a meteor in the night sky, short and rapid.

Seeing the crack, Liu An turned to look at Shi Mu who was less than ten feet away from him. He revealed a sly smile as he reached out and grabbed the black bricks and rushed into the darkness.

As soon as Liu An disappeared, the crack began to close.

Shi Mu snorted silently in his heart and quickly rushed to the crack.

The moment Huang Long saw Liu An escape, his heart burned with more rage and anger. He could not let Shi Mu escape too. With a swung of his sleeve, a palm and yellow golden light hit Shi Mu’s back.

Shi Mu was less than five feet away from the crack. If he could not make it in time, he would likely be killed by Huang Long.

A pair of flaming wings stretched out of Shi Mu’s back. He had completely turned into a shadow-like figure and flew into the air, avoiding Huang Long’s attack.

During the moment of delay, the dark crack had already shrunk to the size of a bucket.

As soon as Liu Yan’s figure was out of sight, the crack slowly began to close.
